St Oswald’s Church – with its unusual layout and fascinating Gilbertine monastic ruins
Scar Gallery – a small and characterful gallery, exhibitions are renewed every 3 months so there's always something new
Piper Hole Goat Farm – home to delightful wildflower meadows just down the road, especially beautiful in late spring and summer
Village walks – a network of footpaths and bridleways offering a variety of short circular walks straight from the doorstep

Places to eat
Ravenstonedale is home to two characterful pubs and a small tearoom, all well worth a visit. You’ll be warmly welcomed for traditional, tasty pub fare at The King’s Head, fine dining at The Black Swan, and scrumptious cakes at The Scar Gallery - perfect after a gentle stroll around the village before heading home to The Green.

Riverside Golf Course – a beautiful 9-hole, pay-and-play course.
Tennis Court – a free-to-use village court, perfect for a casual game
Children’s Play Area & Scandal Beck - a lovely spot for families, with the beck running alongside - ideal for picnics while the children play or paddle
