The Carthouse sleeps up to 6 guests and is perfect for larger families or friends catching up. The ground floor has a cosy living room with original stone fireplace, open plan kitchen/diner (a great place for entertaining!) and wet room.
Large French doors lead out from the kitchen to the rear grounds and the private enclosed courtyard garden, which is a perfect spot to relax and listen to Artlegarth beck trickling by.
Upstairs on the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with exposed beams, vaulted ceiling and original stone wall and master bathroom.
A further flight of stairs leads to the third bedroom in the apex of the barn with lovely views of Wild Boar Fell.
The Carthouse contains additional facilities for the needs of guests with limited mobility, however please note there are no downstairs bedrooms. Both staircases have dual handrails. Please see here for further accessibility information.

A single bed can be added to the largest super-king/twin room on the first floor for a small fee. Please note the dining table and lounge seating are designed for up to 6 guests.
