Vaulted ceilings, tall slate fireplaces and reversed layouts give these two cottages a bright, open feel. Living spaces upstairs make the most of the views, with peaceful bedrooms below and cosy mezzanine levels above.
Each sleeps four, or eight when combined via an interconnecting door - ideal for couples travelling together or families wanting space to spread out.
The Carthouse
A warm, easy choice for families and relaxed group stays
With its exposed stone walls and traditional layout with living spaces and bedrooms set across three floors. The Carthouse offers a more grounded, sociable feel, making it a comfortable and practical base for family breaks or small groups.
Sleeping six, it’s well suited to those looking for a relaxed, easy place to return to after time outdoors.

Each cottage has its own enclosed outdoor area, while the upper gardens offer far-reaching views across the surrounding fells - perfect for slow mornings, afternoons in the sun, or relaxed picnics.
There’s also a peaceful beck-side spot with a stone-built BBQ and seating - a natural place to gather at the end of the day.
